"I love working with Strong Schools Maryland. They have helped me become a better advocate and allowed me to add my voice to the conversation. This is an outstanding organization to be a part of."

~Lisa F. - Montgomery Co. Team Leader

We have several key areas of focus including: ensuring the proper implementation of the Blueprint for Maryland's Future, building power and technical capacity with grassroots leaders in the fight for educational equity at the state and local levels, and providing statewide thought leadership to ensure every student graduates with every opportunity to succeed.

Since 2017,

Stay up-to-date on the implementation of the Blueprint for Maryland's Future

Why now?

Maryland has a real chance to build a world-class education system for every public school student in the state, despite the socio-political and economic inequities we've grown accustomed to. Maryland is in the midst of a once-in-a-generation moment; the time for action and urgency is now.

Why you?

Strong Schools Maryland needs leaders across the state to join existing teams or build teams of their own. Teams engage in collective learning and actions that facilitate the co-creation of public schools that produce equitable outcomes for ALL students.

Why us?

Strong Schools Maryland has led the statewide, grassroots campaign in Maryland to create a world-class education system for every student. We've been invested in this work from the very beginning, and we want you to have access to the information and tools you need to be effective for your community.
